I had to walk out of this performance. Lead singer Adam Duritz should realize that the audience has certain expectations when they spend their hard-earned money on a ticket for his show. The one song most people would have been waiting to hear, "Mr Jones", comes along fairly early in the playlist. What does he do? Totally ruin it because he can't be bothered to sing it properly, in tune, or with the correct lyrics. Now, I understand there is a certain amount of "poetic license" when it comes to live performances, but at least try and make it sound somewhat resembling the original, please! He just rambles on, uttering total nonsense, not even keeping in time with his band. The guy is a waste of space and needs to look hard at why he even does this anymore if he's not going to give close to 100% to his audience. The rest of the performance went the same way, so I just walked out in disgust.
